the power of WOW...

I received this in an email today, and it struck a cord with me. I think it is so true. Today I was having a conversation about faith vs. religion and if there is a difference. I am not going to debate it with anyone. I know where I stand, and what helps me sleep at night!!! But, I thought that this paragraph kind of sets the tone for my view on life.

"To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did" When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence..... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

I know so many people who feel they have been stripped of something from "the man upstairs" and to each their own I guess, but the God I pray to each day does not punish us for anything we have done...He rejoices when we celebrate and he cries when we are sad. And, at the end of the day, He makes all things possible - we just have to learn to trust in Him.

Hi Everyone,

Brenda your post couldn't of said it any better, I don't believe God punishes anyone either, I feel that both of my daughters born with rare birth defects only means that God believes that I am a strong and special person who he chose to have special children. There is a positive reason for everything that happens in life.

Brenda I have to laugh both girls have the same chair with the panda and the kitchen that Charli has is the one we were going to get but got a smaller one, now I know I should of got the one you have. The girls seem to have so much in common, Madelyn Bell is her other buddy who she did get to meet and I hope some day in the future we get to meet too.
