shhh...don't tell Chad!

Okay - so Chad seems to think I will have our baby two weeks early. This stems from the dr saying that the baby is a little ahead of schedule on somethings, but on target with others. Before we got our due date from the dr I was thinking I would be due about 10 days sooner than he said. But, at this time the dr has not changed our date (and I don't expect him to!) So...who knows!

Anyway, someone sent me a link to a birthing quiz. I know it means NOTHING...but fun to do all the same!!

Here are my results:

Get your bags packed early just in case you need them. Make sure your partner has a phone available when he's away because this baby just might come early. We predict your baby will come 2-3 weeks early. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 7.5 pounds and that your labor will be about 14 hours long.

Dear Sadie & Grandma Borg

Here is a CURRENT picture! Chad took this tonight, and I tried to smile...but he didn't get me much notice before he took the picture - probably as good as it gets!

here it is :-)

yeah...so this is the picture I didnt want to put on last time. I had Chad take a picture of me tonight - and I hated it more than this one - so here we are :)

Baby is getting more and more round as the days pass. Depending on the time of day - and what I am doing, it looks like a little basketball in there.

Baby has been woken up two morning by Chad's alarm clock - sounds crazy I know ... but very true. Mom doesn't believe me!

My next appointment is a week from today - I have my glucose test...hope I dont't fail :-)

a little shy today... ;)

Okay. I had all intentions of updating the site tonight with a new picture. Then, I took the picture. I have since decided that those of you who can’t see me, shouldn’t see me!!! I am sure the ‘Brenda’ you picture 6 months pregnant is much cuter than the actual Brenda pregnant…so you will have to wait another week or so for a new picture! I should have posted one each week, because the change from the last picture to now will probably scare you all :-)

On a happier note…baby is doing well! So far the baby has been sleeping through the night and not waking me too much. Baby Preister is starting to move around and kick at regular times during the day – and it is fun to wait for the next big kick!

Chad is getting crazy excited! Each night he tells the baby “I can’t wait to see you, but not now…you’re just not ready yet!” He is going to be such a good daddy! He reads a new book to the baby each week. Anyone need gift ideas for Chad…Golden Books!!! He loves to read them to ‘lil Raz!!!!

Not too much else to report for now.

update...

We had a dr. appointment last night. Nothing too exciting to report - they are generally pretty routine. The baby's heartbeat was in the 140’s, dr. said sounded very good.

I did discuss how likely he would be to do c-sections on his patients - and thankfully he said he isn't likely at all. The reason I asked this, is because the other OB in town will GLADLY schedule a c-section up to 1-2 weeks before the due date...even if all other things are going normal. (I think he does this so it can be planned, for his benefit) I didn't want this...so I did a little happy dance! He did say if a c-section is possible it is something we will have discussed in the weeks prior to delivery, and he won't spring it on me. I am thankful for this also!

On a side note - Chad finished my NEW shower...and I got to use it for the first time this morning and it was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya'll have a great day!

bump...

I was watching TV this afternoon and I could see the baby kick for the first time! I could see my tummy move through my tshirt!! This was exciting!!

Chad has felt the baby move too - about a week ago he felt baby :)

Our next appointment is Tuesday, I will probably have more to report then!
