What started out as a site to update on our daughter's cancer has thankfully grown into a site to update on our beautiful family of four. Enjoy our journey...

PS...I love you!

I decided that when your mom starts asking you to update your website…it is time!!

We had no idea how many people were looking here, until we started getting phone calls, cards, and emails from total strangers! It is amazing the amount of people that Charli has praying for her. I believe that is why she has been doing so well so far. So, ‘thank you’ – to all of you!

Not a lot to update, so I imagine that is good. Charli is continuing to have more good days than bad days, so we are very happy about that! We are scheduled to go back for Round 2 of chemo April 13th (yes it is FRIDAY THE 13th!)

I don’t think I have mentioned this before on here, so I will throw it out there now! Charli’s grandma and grandpa Preister are heading up a benefit for her, and to raise awareness for childhood cancer. ISN’T THAT AMAZING! I know they will get help from the other grandparents as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, etc…we are so blessed with helpful people. This will take place on April 29th, if you would like more information please let me know!! It sounds like it will be fun, Jody has done a great job planning and putting this together. We are grateful. The event is going to involve motorcycles, cars, trucks, food, drink, and prizes! Sounds like a great time, right?!!!

Again – thank you for all of your well wishes, we continue to see the blessings in our life each day as something or someone touches our hearts. We can only promise to pass along all of this goodwill.

Charli is sleeping beautifully and peacefully in her bed now, so I better end this before she decides it is time to play again!! HOW FUN IS BEING A MOM?!!!!!!!!!!!!

is being able to SMILE always this fun?!

CONEHEAD!!! I am going on a walk with mommy & daddy!

Grandma Preister DREW this picture of me!! She called it "charli tickeled pink"!!!!

If you have gotten this far, I would like you to post ATLEAST one thing that you are thankful for!! I will start!! I am thankful for Charli's health, friends, family, and the kindness of strangers.

...your turn!

I am thankful for the power of prayer. I have been praying for your daughter, often at night holding the hand of my own sleeping daughter, every night since I heard of her diagnosis. (I am a Babyfit July 06 mom too) May God continue to bring her "more good days than bad."

What a great idea Brenda!
I am thankful for my wonderful husband and beautiful baby girl! I am also thankful for so many great friends and the spectacular family that we both have! We truely do have an AWESOME GOD and he loves each one of us so much and put us each here for a special purpose and little Charli is one special girl to have so many people storming heaven for her!

-God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, nor sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way-

Please let us know what we can do for the benefit!

Love you!!

I am thankful for all of the kids that I have grown up with in my mothers daycare. They are as close to me as family and feel as though they are my very own brothers and sisters. I love each and everyone of them. I am thankful for my mother's care for children. It is so comforting to know that so many children are cared for and loved with tons of kisses and hugs during the day when their parents are at work.

I am thankful for you Charli. You dont know it, but you have taught us so much. You have taught us to have faith in God, to live strong, and to smile even when it hurts. I am also thankful for your wonderful parents who love you so much and would do anything for you. I am thankful that they make you smile and laugh (Laughter and Love is the best kind of medicine when one is sick).

I am thankful for God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I am thankful for family, friends, and teachers.

I Love You Charli and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers every single day!!
