silence

FYI: We have something a little new in our house tonight...silence! Charli has had several rough nights lately - but tonight she acted like herself, that is so nice! I think she is working on a molar, so I imagine she is having some pain with that. Last night started off really well, but didn't go so hot throughout the night...but I will take whatever progress what we can get!

I got this in an email from a friend (Linda) today...I really like it - so I am passing it along to all of you who take time out of your day and your life to check on our daughter! (thank you by the way!!)

Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin.

God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you.

He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff-- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc

Then, He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.

This was passed on to me from another pumpkin. Now, it is your turn to pass it to a pumpkin. I liked this enough to send it to all the pumpkins in my patch. Happy Fall!

Hello dear Preister Family, Greetings from Sunny South Africa, We are so happy to hear that Charli is doing so well and we continue to raise her up in prayer each day and just know that our Lord has special plans for her! I just LOVE reading your blog daily - it gives me hope, it gives me inspiration, it gives me FAITH and it gives me a reason to love each and every one in my life so dearly and never take them for granted! Have a wonderful day, week and month and just know that God is with you every step of the way on this journey of life! There are no gaurentees in life (I suppose thats what makes it so scary) but one gaurentee that we all have is that with hope, faith and belief - All things are possible! Lots of love, Megan du Plessis (Aunt to Deqlan Higgins), Currently having his 9th round of Chemo and going well. God Bless!

Silence is a good thing sometimes, isn't it? I am SO happy to hear that she's doing better. Those molars are a real pain in the rear! Looking forward to our weekend in Omaha! Can't wait!
XOXO

If molars are keeping Charli up, I'm not looking forward to that. I have a while though since Ky only has five teeth! Sounds like you have an awesome weekend planned! I hope you have great weather! Enjoy!
