Happy Easter to everyone! I didn't think that it would bother me to stay home on a holiday, but it did :-(. Almost every year, every holiday we go to the farm - but not this one. AND, after getting Charli in her dress and shoes, it broke my heart that we would not be able to share her with everyone. BUT - Charli didnt mind! She played and played, and played all day!!!
Grandma and Grandpa Preister brought down supper for all of us, and Charli tried to eat a banana on her own, and didn't like it at all! Then, Grandma and Grandpa Borg came down too! Charli got to stay up an hour past her bedtime! Those of you who know me any my 'schedules'...it didn't bother me at all! Charli had fun playing with Grandma Borg on the floor while everyone visited!
I know I say this all the time - but I have to say it again. THANK YOU. All of the love and support that has been shown to us has been unreal. We have received cards, calls, emails, gifts, meals, notes, balloons, and the list goes on and on. I have gotten some of the nicest notes from people - and let me just say this - God works in ways that we will never understand. And while so many of you keep telling me how much you are learning and gaining from seeing how we are handling our situation - please know that we are learning MORE from the kindness and goodwill that has been shown to us. We would never wish this on anyone - but know that heartache comes in all shapes and sizes. I want every one of you to know that I will personally do my best to pass all of this kindness on to the next person who is in need, friend, family, or stranger.

The pictures are precious---------and they show her dress so good. She was beautiful in her Easter dress........and even I think her hat is kind of big but it will fit her someday!! Thanks you for letting me spend some quite time all by myself with Charli Ann on Easter Night. I will never forget it. Love to all THREE of you.

Brenda, Charli's dress is absolutely gorgeous! It doesn't look like it bothered her one bit to be at home all day. Looks like she had a grand time! Hugs, Cindy and Mia
