WOW

okay, where do I start!

Yesterday Charli's eye was very red and swollen...so I took her into the eye doctor. We got some eye cream and came home! This morning it was still very red, and we were concerned that an underlying infection was missed or something. So, back to the eye doctor we went! We are using the same cream, but using it a bit differently now, and should see some improvement in the next two days. Bad news, she can't go to daycare for 48 hours...so Thursday and Friday she is home. (which Chad and I enjoy the extra time with her, but wish she felt better to enjoy it)

We also had her pediatrician take a look at her to make sure the eye infection didn't have anything to do with her sinuses, etc. She seems to check out, although we will keep an eye on her for sinus issues. I have some pictures below, although they don't look nearly as bad in the picture as they do in person :-( The "whites" of her eye were red, the inner lids were blood-red, and her eye was very puffy. She looked like a wreck!!

We got snow today, our first "real" snow of the year I would say. Last week we had a "dusting" but it wasn't anything too bad. Maybe it is the second snow...depends on who you ask!

All for now, please see my previous post regarding the Omaha shooting, such a time of sadness...

Ouch! Poor little girl, I hope that the cream helps and it isn't anything to do with the blocked tear ducts (Gavins has been better for a month now, Yea!)
