update...

We had a dr. appointment last night. Nothing too exciting to report - they are generally pretty routine. The baby's heartbeat was in the 140’s, dr. said sounded very good.

I did discuss how likely he would be to do c-sections on his patients - and thankfully he said he isn't likely at all. The reason I asked this, is because the other OB in town will GLADLY schedule a c-section up to 1-2 weeks before the due date...even if all other things are going normal. (I think he does this so it can be planned, for his benefit) I didn't want this...so I did a little happy dance! He did say if a c-section is possible it is something we will have discussed in the weeks prior to delivery, and he won't spring it on me. I am thankful for this also!

On a side note - Chad finished my NEW shower...and I got to use it for the first time this morning and it was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya'll have a great day!

they scheduled my induction date for a week after i was due. by that point baby was head down and they had a pretty good idea that he would be natural. i think the only reason to do a csection would be a breech birth of any sort, but you should know well enough in advance of that ;)

You're right Sadie! The only reason my dr. will do a c-section is for that reason.

The other dr. will do them if the mom requests it...his entire practice is MUCH different than my dr. (I am thankful for that!)

I am so happy that you got a second opinion on the c-section. I am sure that ileviates a lot of your worries. I enjoy reading the updates and look forward to more!!!

Whats wrong with a C-section -- I have two lovely girls as a result :-) I don't blame you one bit -- choose your pain now or later Ha!

nothing is WRONG with the c-section Rachelle! However, I do remember all the complications you had with your first one...remember making us shut the TV off because it hurt too much to laugh!

I don't care if I HAVE to have a c-section, I just don't want him to choose it because of convenience for him!

BUT - if my babies are as cute as yours, I guess I don't really care how they get here!
