the "fam"!Tonight was our first Christmas party of the year, and it was a great one! We had our daycare party, it is a good group of people to get together. We meet at Hy-Vee (in their party room) and have a great meal. Everyone brings cookies too, and then the left overs are split up with everyone at the end of the night!
This year the kids did a gift/book exchange and Charli got the cutest touch and feel book with "little bears" in it called "Who do you love?", it is adorable! Lynn and Lonnie also buy gifts for all the kids. Charli got her two most favorite things right now, Lego and little people!!! She has already enjoyed playing with it tonight! The kids get such neat gifts. I can't imagine how hard it is for Lynn and Lonnie to buy the gifts for so many kids - but they do great!
Charli had a great time playing with all the kids. They danced and ran around, it was so much fun to see! When we pick her up at night there are only a few kids left so we rarely get to see her in her "prime" with all of her friends!!!
After gifts, when the cookies were broke out, Lonnie got to feed Charli a cookie! He said that he isn't "best buddy" for nothing! Much to our surprise she wasn't bouncing off the walls when we got home! She ate the entire chocolate chip cookie by her self...plus she mooched off of Melissa (Lynn and Lonnie's oldest daughter) for a while too!!!
Charli was so cute tonight (I think!!). She was polite to everyone, passing them smiles or a "HI!" every once in awhile! Melissa even asked "Who's your best buddy" and she quickly replied "Lonn-nah", which is Lonnie!!
