new, firsts, and fun times!

First of all, I would like to make a very exciting announcement! Randy and Kara Borg (my brother and sister-in-law) had their first baby, a boy, last night July 7th. Cohen Alexander arrived into this world around 10pm 7 lbs nearly 10 oz, 21.5" with lots of dark hair as you will notice! He looks so perfect, I can't wait to meet him. I have received a few emails from Randy and you can feel his pride seeping from the letters in his emails!! We are very happy for you Randy and Kara, and can't wait to see Cohen grow up!

We had such a nice weekend! Friday I took Charli to the waterpark to play with Grandma Borg, Aunt Rachelle, Ryen, and Macey. We had a lot of fun. Rachelle and I event went down the slides together!! Other firsts this week were Charli eating lemon juice, and liking it! She would open her mouth for more! She also ate fish for the first time this week. Saturday we went out to the Borg farm where Charli got to play with her cousins more and eat her first sucker!!! Generally we would not let her eat a sucker, but - her cousin has been waiting to give her a sucker since she got sick, and Ryen has NOT forgotten...so we let her eat a sucker. And, imagine that, she liked it! Sunday we went back to the waterpark, and again had a great time! Charli is such a water bug! When we got home and it was time for her bath she just lit up when she saw her daddy running the bath water! We had such a nice weekend!
